Ayurvedic (Indian) Head Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, IET and Healing Angels programs are certificate programs with home assignments. Classes are small and kept to a minimum of 6 to ensure sufficient experiential time, interactive experience and sharing. karmic ties: cutting the cords

To some extent, karmic cords or etheric cords are necessary to all human beings, and they allow us to develop both healthy and unhealthy human relationships with our parents, family, friends and strangers. However, some poeple feel far too drained, and do not know why. It may be that they need help in order to be disconnected from unhealthy energetic cords that bind them to negative people, negative relationships, harmful places and situations, divorce, anger, guilt, traumatic life experience etc. You will be guided through a visualization which will prepare you for cutting those unhealthy cords.

reflexology for family and friends

Reflexology is a natural healing art, based on the principle that there are reflexes on the head, hands and feet, that relate to all parts of the body. One of many forms of complimentary medicine, it is extremely valuable for treating the whole of the body. This introductory course shows you the major reflex points in the feet.  Students will be taught to treat each other (so come with clean feet and a towel!). Reflexology helps the body heal itself by correcting any imbalances that can occur through illness, accident, disease or even lifestyle, correcting and maintaining the body’s natural equilibrium by restoring critical energy pathways that flow through the body.

dowsing: how to use a pendulum

You will be taught how to use a pendulum to dowse for a variety of information, e.g. personal, spiritual guidance, locating water or even lost items. We will look at how to correctly phrase the question and how to “program” the pendulum. Pendulums and L-Rods will be on sale during the course so students may get a feel for the type they prefer.  You may bring your own pendulum to the workshop or even just a ring on a chain. The course will also touch on other instruments used for dowsing, such as L-rods and Y-rods.

shaking up your chakras

Chakra (pronounced sha-kra) is the Sanskrit word for “wheel”. Chakras are like spirals of energy, each one relating to the others. There are seven major centers (chakras) in the body, and many minor ones. This course introduces you to the location and colour of these chakras, as well as the areas in the body they govern. If you can imagine the main chakras as a set of cogs or wheels, they are rather like the workings of a clock or an engine; each cog or wheel needs to move smoothly and at a similar speed for the clock or engine to work properly. Good health and well being is achieved by a balance of all these energies (or the smooth running of the cogs and wheels).

Indian Head Massage increases blood flow to the brain, resulting in more focused thought, greater concentration and better memory. ayurveda - what's your dosha?

Conceived in India and practiced for over 5,000 years, the Sanskrit word ‘Ayurveda’ literally translates to the ‘Science of Life’. Ayurveda is better understood as a lifestyle which aims to guide individuals, to live in harmony both with their external environment and, more fundamentally; their essential selves. At this workshop you will learn if you are a pitta, vata or kapha type. You will be provided with a list of foods suitable for your ayurvedic type. You will even find out which type of exercise suits your ayurvedic constitution.
